Ammocharis tinneana white form

Ammocharis tinneana white form

Ammocharis tinneana is a species spread usually across Tanzania and Kenya, with purplish flowers and also the extremely rare white variety which is being offered. This is extremely rare in cultivation and have never seen it offered for the past 20 years in any nursery. Just as easy to grow as the normal form of the species in any well drained, gritty soil in full sun or half shade with regular liquid feeding. However, this is a tender bulb, so it needs to be stored in a dry, frost-free place during winter such as a cellar.

*XL sized flowering bulb offered. This is the only bulb I have available when it sells out, no more will be sold.
