Another Japenese jewel, this is one of the smaller arisaemas, only 10 cm's tall or so in leaf, a perfect little miniature with its mouse like flower which always attracts attention. In this sp, the whirl of leaves can almost be thought of as an evolution mechanism to protect the small flower underneath from rain splash and to give shade, just like a parasol as it gen sits just above the flower, and is also very decorative.
