This really is a unique plant and a real show stopper for any guest to your garden if you have one growing amongst your collection. It is one of the most imposing and vigorous arisaemas, a fully grown specimen will usually get to between 120 and 150 cm's tall. The leaves are very decorative and fern like and the flower is stunning, looking like an elephant trunk springing out of its flower hood and then sky rocketing upwards. Flowering is in June/July. Growth is as for all other arisaemas in a humus rich very well drained soil in half shade. These are superb specimen sized tubers.
