X amarcrinum howardii

X amarcrinum howardii is a hybrd between amaryllis belladonna and crynum moorei. It is much hardier than crynum moorei only needing mulching and protection in winter against frost. The bulb itself below ground itself will be hardy to at least -10°C. Superb flowering in August-November with large clusters of highly fragrant pink flowers. Smaller dark green leaves less obtrusive than most crynums. Highly recommended. These are very large bulbs indeed.

*Extra large bulbs available.
