The fabulous double form of the red form of anemone coronaria, easy to grow in a gritty spot in full sun. Super red dark scarlet flowers, this is one of the best double anemone coronaria varieties (also called de caen) that will light up any rockery in full sun from March-June. Very easy to grow.
 
Simply plunge the tubers in water about an hour before planting. Anemones are a very long-lived genus, with most species having tubers which live for over 20 years, needing no care whatsoever once planted in a well-drained rockery or similar.
