There is always variation in the colouring of candidissimum. These tubers offered here are all in pink tones, with some being slightly lighter than the rest. Most however are as pictured above. Also highly scented. As the white form, this one is also very late to emerge, often not before early July, but is in flower only two weeks later! So do not worry if you dont see any shoots emerging untill early summer. Approximately 25cm tall. Grows very well in big pots in a rich, gritty mix in half shade. The 3 part leaves that follow the flower are very decorative and last well into October, making this one of the most decorative and easy to grow species, however, sadly becoming rare.
