Cardiocrinum giganteum

Cardiocrinum giganteum

CHF35.00Price

The fantastic "giant himalayan lily", which, in fact is not a lily at all, but a cardiocrinum. It takes about 6-7 years from seed to flower, and then dies, leaving behind small offset bulbs, which in turn will flower after 4-5 years of good growth. When in full flower, in half shade in a humus rich soil, its stems can reach up to 2.5M tall! Its long fragrant trumpet flowers are huge 30 cm long trumpets. Superb potted specimens, ready to flower in about a years time.

If you want to purchase an extra large bulb, please reserve a plant before early March 2022.
