Crinum bulbispermum

Crinum bulbispermum

CHF20.00Price

This is one of the hardiest and toughest South African crynums for European gardens, making humongous bulbs weighing several kilos. In fact, these huge specimens available are probably well over 20-25 years old already. Unlike crynum poellii this crynum tends to stay one main bulb and does not overproduce tons of offsets. Nice pinkish white flowers in June-July with a very unusual fragrance of a champignon de Paris. Several flower stems are produced over 2 months. Fully hardy and easily grown in any well drained soil in full sun or half shade.
