These have proven hardy here in the nursery with a thick mulch at -8°c in the winter of 2018/19. A superbly intensely coloured crinum with big burgundy coloured fragrant flowers in August-November. Needs a nice deep root run in fertile well drained moist soil. Once settled, it needs very little care.

These are very large old flowering sized bulbs.
