Lilium duchartrei
CHF45.00Price
A very gracious lilium species, with white and purple turkscap flowers. Also called "the marble martagon". Likes a humus rich soil in half shade. "Woodland" conditions are ideal. Being stoloniferous, the stems usually run around underground for a while before emerging, sometimes quite far from where the bulb was originally planted. A way to counter this problem is to plant them in deep pots, which can then be "sunk" into the border once the stems have emerged.
