Lilium ortega was bred by Johan Mak in the 1980's in Oregon. This has to be one of the best lily hybrids ever made together with black beauty. It's indestructible and in time reaches humongous heights to 2-2.5m or more with stems as thick as bamboo canes and bulbs as large as grapefruit. Not often available as it is very rare nowadays. This stock is very limited.
