Lilium volmerii

CHF65.00Price

Lilium volmerii is another small American gem, similar to L. pardalinum but with much smaller flowers, and scattered leaves up a shorter stem, only 20 – 60 cms tall at most. Native to Del Norte County in California and Josephine County in Oregon, it grows along watersides where it experiences good drainage but constant moisture when in growth. It will produce up to five flowers to a stem, but one or two is more normal. It also produces smaller bulbs than Lilium pardalinum. Easy to grow in any well drained spot and clumps up nicely.
