One of the best lilium hybrids in existance, bred by Leslie Woodriff in 1957 from lilium speciocum rubrum and lilium henryii. I often recommend this lily to customers who want a strong growing lily which is easy to grow and that will stand for decades in a humus rich spot in half shade or full sun with shade at the roots, needing no particular care. In time, will produce huge bulbs, capable of producing 30-60 flowers to a stem!
