Tigridia pavonina liliacea
5.00Â CHFPrice
Undoubtedly in my opinion the best of the genus. This tigridia species produces humongous handsized deep purple flowers with an intricate interior, looking almost like an orchid. Each flower however will only last open for one day but numerous flowers are produced from the same corm over a period of weeks from June to September. A Mexican native therefore hardiness is not guaranteed, it is therefore advised to dig up the corms in the autumn and store them dry in your cellar over winter. Highly recommended and easy to grow in full sun.
Other colours (red, yellow, white) are available upon request as part of my plant finding service. Please order them before April 2022.
Tigridia pavonina - also available at 1chf per bulb upon request.
